Christmas Care, Caring for the lonely & homeless over Christmas

Celebrating our 20th Anniversary

Christmas Care is a project that has run in Swindon for 20 years; providing shelter, food and clothing for anyone who is alone, in need or homeless over the Christmas period.
The project is run from Christmas Eve to the 28th December and is housed in the Methodist Church hall, Queens Drive, Swindon.

Last year we served 500+ meals throughout the time we were open, serving 70 turkey dinners at Christmas Day Lunch.

From Christmas Eve we are open 24 hours, with a constant flow of tea, coffee and food.

The project depends entirely on voluntary donations to survive, as I am sure you are aware fund raising gets harder each year, for this reason I am approaching you for assistance and will be greatful for any donations you are able to give us.

We need:

  • warm clothing
  • any footwear
  • bedding
  • towels
  • toiletries and food

We are also seeking donations of stationery items, books, children's clothing, toys and of course money.

Cheques should be made payable to CHRISTMAS CARE.

The Pilgrim centre at Regent Circus will take in donations of clothing and bedding from 11am to 3pm Monday to Friday, please note items must not be left outside the church doors.

We would ensure that you receive as much publicity as possible in return for your generosity and Thank You in anticipation of a favourable early reply.

Yours Faithfully
